Famous stock photo site 123RF.com facing data breach, 8.3 million customer records for sales over Internet

From the samples of the database seen by BleepingComputer, the customer data includes customer full name, email address, company name, phone number, address and MD5 encrypted password.

However, for users that using none complex password, it is possible to match the MD5 encrypted password using online MD5 password dictionary database and gain access to their account.  Hence, buyer have the potential utilise hacked account prepaid credit legitimately download copyrighted photo, video, and audio clip from 123RF portal easily.

We are working with the respective law enforcement and inform our members to perform password reset immediately, said 123RF spokeman.
